Coffee Filters

Save money, reduce waste and conserve trees by choosing to use reusable coffee filters. While paper filters are compostable, they require cutting down trees (and destroying ecosystems) and energy to produce. Each filter can last about 4-6 months, depending on how frequently its used and if its properly cared for (based on instructions below). Lionheads’ coffee filters are made with organic, undyed, and unbleached cotton and hemp (55% hemp and 45% cotton).
Each pack contains two filters. They are available in two sizes: No. 2 Cone and No. 4 Cone.

How to care for your filters:
Before first use: Boil filter in water for 10 minutes to sanitize and shrink (please note that the fabric has been pre-washed). Rinse thoroughly.
Daily care: Rinse filter until water runs clear. Hang filter to dry.
Renew: Two times a month (or when the flow becomes restricted), boil in clean water for 10 minutes.
Please note that the filter will naturally take on the colour of coffee after use.

Fabric care: Use gentle/delicate style and warm water; place inside mesh bag. Dryer friendly.
