You can purchase Lionheads products by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or private messaging me on Facebook or Instagram. In your email, please indicate which product, size, and quantity. Finally, please provide your mailing address.
If your products are not in stock, orders usually take 4-5 business days for me to make it. Once your order is ready, I will send you your invoice. Please send an Interac e-Transfer to the email address listed in your invoice. Once payment is received, your parcel will be dropped off at Canada Post.

Lionheads tries to use certified organic, non-GMO, and local whenever possible to make its skin care and beauty products. All of our products are cruelty-free and vegan. All of Lionheads’ cosmetics are free of harmful chemicals, such as parabens, petroleum-based chemicals, synthetic fragrances. We list ALL of our ingredients.

All of Lionheads’ products are made in Toronto in small batches by hand with lots of love.
Packaging is either re-purposed material or 100% recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.
Aluminum containers are used for most of Lionheads’ skin care and beauty products; they are plastic-free and can be recycled infinitely. Glass containers are used for certain products and these can be reused or recycled as well. Lionheads encourages costumers to participate in its Deposit Program to earn a $2 discount for each returned (cleaned) glass jar on your next purchase. Please go here for specific details.
For Lionheads’ sewn goods, a line of custom upcycled products is available. Most of the products are eco-friendly items that promote responsible living, such as hankies or reusable food bags. All items are sewn with care to ensure that they last a long time.

Q: How are Lionheads products eco-friendly and ethical?
A: Most of Lionheads’ products are vegan and made in small batches with love in Toronto – it’s as local as it can get! Also, most of the ingredients are organic, local (Ontario/Canada), and/or non-GMO. Lionheads does not test on animals and all of our products are vegan.
They do not contain any petroleum-based ingredients, parabens, phenoxyethanol, hydantoin, boric acid, butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), dehydroacetic acid (DHA), hydroquinone, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate, mineral oil (petroleum by-product), gelatin, lanolin, ambergris, or synthetic fragrances.

They are packaged in aluminum and glass containers that can be recycled infinitely. For a small number of products, such as loose powder makeup, we use reusable plastic containers. Lastly, Lionheads only uses re-purposed packaging to ship products to its customers.

Q: If Lionheads products are 100% natural, what is used as a preservative?
A: A combination of natural ingredients such as grapefruit seed extract, sodium lactate, and/or vitamin E are used to prolong the shelf life of our products. ECOCERT Geogard ECT is used as the main preservative. It is a non-paraben, non-formaldehyde, non-isothiazolone based system and provides broad spectrum activity on bacteria, yeast and molds.
Q: How does Lionheads’ Recycling/Reuse Program work?
A: The insides of the containers must be cleaned, but leave the labels on to receive the discount. Containers must not be damaged (chipped or dented) to be eligible.
Q: How can I prolong the shelf life of my natural Lionheads products?
A: To prolong the shelf life of these natural products, store in cool temperature temperatures, and keep away from moisture and heat (the bathroom is the worst place to store our products). Always ensure that hands are clean when applying the product.
An option for those who do not have air conditioning in their home is to store the creams and deodorant (for the deodorant, remember to stir first though) in the fridge – the consistency will just be thicker. With respect to the lip balms and body butters, if they’ve been exposed to heat, place in the fridge for 15-20 minutes and remove promptly.
Lionheads’ water-based products, such as creams and toners, can last up to 4 months from the date of production. For best results, use any of our products that contain water within 2 months of purchase. For products that do not contain water, products are in good condition for up to 1 year, but for best results, use within 6 months of purchase.
Q: There are tiny clumps in my cream, is this normal?
A: For all creams, tiny clumps may occur due to changes in temperature and humidity, which is normal – it’s just the zinc oxide powder. You can just rub it in with your fingers. This does not affect the performance of the product.
Q: There seems to be a thin white “glaze” occurring in my lip balm, is this normal?
A: Yes, it’s normal. This is likely caused by changes in humidity and temperature. It can be attributed to when the product has melted due to high temperatures during shipping or storage; this causes a separation in the oils and colour pigmentation. In colder temperatures or climates, this product will harden; simply apply some extra friction with your fingers and the product can be applied. With the chocolate mint lip balm, this is called “blooming”; this occurs naturally with chocolate. In these instances, the white glaze is not mold.
Q: Since Lionheads products are 100% natural, does this mean that I cannot have an allergic reaction from using the products?
A: While Lionheads products are 100% natural and are non-toxic, as with any product, some people may develop an allergic reaction. Always test a small amount on the inside of your elbow, as you should with any new products.
