Lionheads’ line of Natural Mineral Makeup Blush Powder is made with all-natural ingredients. The mica (mined from naturally occurring deposits), titanium dioxide (a naturally occurring oxide), zinc oxide (natural compound), and iron oxides (oxidized iron) are mineral ingredients used to provide colour, while the magnesium stearate (a magnesium salt of stearic acid, a naturally occurring fatty acid) is used to provide adhesion. The clays used provide natural pigmentation, absorb oil, as well as detoxify skin. Not only is jojoba oil and Vitamin E good for your skin as moisturizers, but it also helps prolong the shelf life of the product and holds the powder together.

All shades are packaged in plastic sifter jars. This is the only product that Lionheads sells that uses plastic containers. To encourage customers to reuse their jars, refills can be purchased at a heavily discounted price.

Please note that the shades appear darker (more brown or pink) than they actually are when applied. Here are the descriptions for the 3 different shades:

#1 is suitable for those who have fair skin or adore pink shades as blush. #2 is the darkest shade with more of a brown tone suitable for darker complexions. #3 is a medium shade suitable for those who have a medium complexion.

To use sifter jar: Tip the jar upside down and shake gently. Tip the jar right side up again. Lightly dip a rounded makeup brush onto the lid or the sifter (a little goes a long way) and then apply on face. It can be applied over a moisturizer or for more coverage, apply over Lionheads’ Natural Mineral Makeup Liquid Foundation.

To use refill: Use a small spoon to transport into your sifter jar (remove sifter first). For external use only. Do not inhale or ingest. This product is made to order, which will require 3-5 business days for processing before it is shipped out.
